David Ahlheim obtained a successful Motion to Dismiss with prejudice in a medical negligence case pending in US District Court for Eastern Missouri. A court appointed psychologist was appointed in a contentious custody case. Plaintiff sued the psychologist for medical negligence for breach of standard of care in his evaluations. The Court agreed that the psychologist was protected by “quasi-judicial immunity.” As such, the matter was dismissed – with prejudice.
